DAYTON Ann R. Cates, 89, passed away Friday, Feb. 22, 2013 at Life Care Center of Rhea Co.She was a longtime resident of Rhea Co., and was a member of the Church of God 7th Day.Preceded in death by husband, Wayne (Jack) Cates; great-grandson Matthew Daniels; parents John Daniel and Nora Jane Ray Bodine.Survivors: 7 children, Wade (Doris) Cates, Patsy (Don) Iles, Debbie Sullivan, and Sandy (Nicky) Marler, all of Dayton, Tenn., Larry (Martha) Cates, Sale Creek, Tenn., Joan Richardson, Bradenton, Fla., and Pamela Sue (Larry) Dowden, Soddy-Daisy, Tenn.; sister, Maxine Johnston, Rising Fawn, Ga. 14 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.Services are 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 25, in the Chapel of Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home with Clergy Elder Don Iles.Visitation: 4-8 p.m. todayInterment: Rigsby Cemetery.
