Johnny Mosley

RINGGOLD Johnny Ray Mosley, 73, passed away Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013. He was born in Brenham, Texas to the late, Roy and Edith Mosley and had lived in the Ringgold area for the last 20 years. He was employed as a carpenter for most of his life and was a member of Carpenters Union Local #213 in Houston, Texas. He was of the Christian faith and was best known for always helping others in need. He enjoyed going to car auctions and also owned & operated Pops Garage behind his home in Ringgold. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed by all that knew him. He was also preceded in death by his two brothers, James and Buddy Mosley and two sisters, Vera Clipper and Peggy Jasinski.Survivors include his loving wife of more than 54 years, Nelda Von Minden Mosley, of Ringgold, Ga.; five children, Tammy Gaugh, of Ooltewah, Tenn., Cynthia Lynn Brown, of Weatherford, Texas, Cheryl Shupak, of Willis, Texas, Mellisa Clampitt, of Pinehurst, Texas and David Ray Mosley, of Ringgold, Ga.; two brothers, Kenneth Mosley, of Brenham, Texas and William Earl Mosley, of Huntsville, Ala.; 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; special friend, J.D. Berry and several nieces and nephews.Services and burial will be private and there will be no visitation at the funeral home. Arrangements by W. L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Homes, Fort Oglethorpe, GA.
