CHICKAMAUGA Della Ann Skidmore, 49, passed away Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013.She was born Nov. 24, 1963 to the late William P. and Ruby Sims Forrester in Fort Oglethorpe, and she was a member of Milwee Hollow Church of God.Survivors include her husband, David Lebron Skidmore; son, Jerry Lebron Skidmore, both of Chickamauga; three sisters, Linda Russell, of Chickamauga, Brenda Smiley, of Chattanooga Valley and Carolyn Walters, of Fort Oglethorpe; brother, Paul Weshon, of Chickamauga; two grandchildren, Emily Grace Skidmore and Lauren Elizabeth Skidmore.The family will receive friends from 9 a.m.- 9 p.m. today and prior to the service Wednesday in the funeral home chapel at noon with Pastor Alfred Holland officiating.Interment will follow in Coulter Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Wilson Funeral Home in honor of Della Skidmore to assist the family with funeral expenses.Online guestbook available at www.wilsonfuneralhome.com Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Homes, LaFayette Chapel.
