NEW SALEM Hattie Mae Wooten, 87, daughter of the late Marion and Blanch Cochran, departed this life, Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013.She was a lifelong resident of Lookout Mountain and was a member of Ascalon Baptist Church. Hatties greatest talents were her patience, kindness to Christ and quilting.Hattie was preceded in death by her husband, Jiles Wooten; son, Marty Wooten; son-in-law, David Wimpee.Survivors include her daughter, Betty Wimpee; son, Patrick (Judy) Wooten; sisters, Sarah (Bill) Hammontee, Dorothy Goins, Ann Wallin and Lorene Barnes; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. EDT Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013 in the Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with the Rev.
