Saundra Simmons

Saundra Jean Simmons, formerly of Chattanooga, passed away Monday, Dec. 31, 2012, in Sugar Land, Texas.She was the oldest of four children born to William and Francis Mauldin in Dayton, Ohio. She and her family later moved to Chattanooga where she resided until relocating to Texas. She was a member of Avondale Church of Christ in Chattanooga where Brother Carl Taylor was minister. She later joined Sugar Land Church of Christ in Texas. She was preceded in death by parents, husband, David Sr.; son, Marcus Todd.Cherishing her memory are sons, Toney (Tonya), David Jr. and William (Vicki); daughters, Angela (Sharron) and Pamela (fiance Houston Hall); 12 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; sisters, Phyllis Richey, of Dayton, Ohio, and Judy Terry, Los Angeles, Calif.; brother, Tommy Mauldin, of Chattanooga; other relatives and friends.Funeral and memorial services were held Saturday, Jan. 5, (Sugar Land Texas) and Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2013, (Dayton, Ohio).
