Nola Bishop

DAYTON Nola Lee Bishop, 88, went to be with her Lord Sunday morning Jan. 27, 2013 at her home. She was born in Dayton on April 5, 1924 the daughter of the late Arvil and Mamie (Dotson) Fraley. She was also preceded in death by her son Ray Bishop; two brothers, Arvil Fraley, Jr. and Charles Fraley; and two sisters, Sandra Fraley and Virginia Garrison; and her son-in-law, Mick Day.Nola lived all of her life in Dayton where she was a member of the Oak Hill Baptist Church and its ladies Sunday school class. She had been employed at Kayser-Roth until her retirement in 1981. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Bernard Bishop, of Dayton; her daughter, Joyce Day, of Dayton; two brothers, Malcolm Fraley, of Dayton and R.C. Fraley, of Daisy; three sisters, Alberta McSpadden and Louise Cornett and Aileen Pritchett, all of Dayton; three granddaughters, Stacey Lee, Robin (Dwight) Gravett and Tana Bishop, all of Dayton; and her six great-grandchildren, Cody Gravett, Tori Smith, Sydni Lee, Konner Bishop, KayleAnn Wallace and Daylee Gravett.Funeral services for Nola will be held Tuesday, Jan. 29, at Noon in the funeral home chapel with her pastor, Rev. Bill Treadway officiating.
