RINGGOLD George "Ronnie" Ronald Carlock, 70, passed away Monday, July 1, 2013, at his residence.A resident of the North Georgia area for most of his life, he was a member of Boynton Baptist Church and attended Shield Baptist Church. Ronnie was a former employee of Shaw Industries where he worked for over 30 years and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.He was preceded in death by his father, George Madison Carlock; mother, Fannie Mildred Plemmons Bearden; stepfathers, John Love and Dorse Bearden; daughter, Donna Keast and brother, Richard Carlock.He is survived by his wife, Novella Ann Templeton Carlock, of Ringgold.; children, Chris (Theresa) Carlock, of Ringgold, Todd Carlock, of Birmingham, Ala., Richard (Laura) Land, of Ringgold, and Melissa (Vu) Nguyen, of Houston, Texas.; three brothers, Bill (Barbara) Carlock, of Apison, Jim (Darlene) Carlock, of Frederick, Md., and Brian Love, of Rome, Ga.; sisters-in-law, Pat Holsomback, Connie Fouts and Sarah Sexton; brothers-in-law, R.L. Templeton, Larry Templeton, Garry Templeton and Dannie Templeton; eight grandchildren, Clayton Carlock, Cole Carlock, Clint Carlock, Luke Carlock, Brian Keast, Becky Keast, Sophia Nguyen and Chloe Nguyen; several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, July 5, 2013, in the funeral home chapel with the Rev.
