Samuel Knox

Samuel Christopher Knox, 37, of Chattanooga, passed away on Friday, July 5, 2013, in a Chattanooga hospital.Sam was born on Aug. 15, 1975 to the late Jimmie C. Knox and Gloria J. Knox. He was very involved with music, playing bass in the Conspiracy Band which was later known as the Atomic Eyes, when they toured Japan. Sam was a great bass player for these bands and wrote a great amount of music during this time for each band. He worked as a dispatcher for 911 and was actually commended by 911 for delivering a baby girl.In addition to his father, Sam was preceded in death by one brother, Jay Curtis Knox Jr.; and his twin sister, Samantha Knox.He leaves behind to cherish his memory: his mother, Gloria Jane Knox; two sons, Chris Knox Hornsby and Mason Knox; one brother, John Knox; and two sisters, Cindy Hornsby and Tammy Simms.
