Hilda GordyRINGGOLD Hilda Ruth Bridges Gordy, 69, went home to be with her Lord Thursday, June 13, 2013.A lifelong resident of the Ringgold area, she was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Gordy; parents, Homer and Pearl Hullender Bridges; sisters, Inez Walker Ogle and Sara Walraven; and brothers, Johnny and Jimmy Bridges.Left to cherish her memory include daughter Melissa Dawn (Rick) Coffman, of Hixson; sisters, Doris B. (Skiles) Roach, of Ringgold, and Dimple Cook of Ringgold, GA., three brothers, Homer "Jr" Bridges of Ringgold, GA., Gene (Jo) Bridges of Ringgold, GA and Tommy (Shelia) Bridges of Ringgold, GA., several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Melvin Bridges and Rev.
