TUNNEL HILL Stanley Edward Charles, 76, departed this life Wednesday, June 19, 2013.He was born in Gordon County, Ga., to the late Jessie and Ora Mae McGaha Charles. Stanley retired from trucking in the spring of 2007 and was of the Baptist faith.Survivors include his loving wife of 45 years, Ruby Charles, of Tunnel Hill; children, Angela Charles Brindle, of Dalton, Debbie Thurman King, of Verbena, Ala., Tammy Darlene Beaver, of Palm Coast, Fla., Wesley Charles, of Tunnel Hill; grandchildren, Chaz Greeson, Amanda Thurman Waites, Anthony Beaver, Whitney King Smith, Brandon Charles, Amy Tinsley Hill, Morgan Charles; great-grandchildren, Hannah, Walker, Wyatt and Allison.Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, June 22, 2013, in the Wallis-Stewart Chapel of Wilson Funeral Homes.Family will receive friends from 5 until 9 p.m. today and prior to the service Saturday at the funeral home.Arrangements are by Wallis-Stewart Chapel of Wilson Funeral Homes, Ringgold.
