Randall Burr

CHICKAMAUGA Rev. Randall Dewayne Burr, 39, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 9, 2013. He was a lifelong resident of the North Georgia area and was Pastor of the Unity Community Church. He was a loving and devoted son, husband and father who will be greatly missed by all that knew him.He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Juanita York; grandfather, Carl Coffman and grandparents, Henry and Opal Burr.Survivors include his loving wife, Mechelle Holmes Burr, of Chickamauga, Ga.; grandfather, Curtis "Pop" and Jo York; father, Terry and (Denise) Burr, of Tuttle, Okla.; mother, Connie Burr and (Wayne Tucker), of Chickamauga, Ga.; twelve children, Terrie Burr, of South Carolina, Katlyn Burr, of Tunnel Hill, Ga., Tyler Burr, of Chickamauga, Ga., Joey Burr and Randy Burr, Jr. both of Ringgold, Ga., Jason Broome, of Cleveland, Ga., Darian Holmes, of Gainesville, Ga., T.J. Bishop and Tyler Broome both of Chickamauga, Ga., Robyn Wilhoite, of Jasper, Tenn., Scott Morris, of Chickamauga, Ga., and Hunter Edgeman, of Ringgold, Ga.; two brothers, Shane "Pooh" Burr and Rodney Burr, both of Chickamauga, Ga.; three sisters, Candi Kirkes, of Tuttle, Okla., Mandy Garrett, of Conroe, TX and Carrie Burr, of Tuttle, Okla.; and numerous extended family and friends.Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel with Pastor Scott Grizzle and Pastor Ron Haley officiating. Entombment will follow in the Calvary Gardens Mausoleum.The family will begin receiving friends after 3 p.m. today, all day Monday and prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
