Alene Berryhill

Alene Berryhill, 95, of East Ridge, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2013.Alene was born and raised in Chattanooga. She was a member of Hamilton Baptist Church where she belonged to the Ruth Sunday School Class and was actively involved with AWANAS. She also retired from Buster Brown after 32 years of service.Surviving are her daughter, Waneda (Larry) Sikes; grandchildren, Lara Sikes and Larry Sikes II; and two sisters, Louise Evans and Ollie Ruth Morgan.She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Evans; daughters, Jenny and Margaret Berryhill; three brothers; and one sister.Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today and from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 27, at the funeral home with the Rev. Lee Fick officiating.
