Lillian Hatfield

ROSSVILLE Lillian Scott Hatfield, 95, a lifelong resident of Catoosa County, died on Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013.Lillian was a member of Cloud Springs Baptist Church. She retired after many years of service from Standard Coosa Thatcher Mill. She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Hatfield; her parents, William and Bertie Pierce; brothers, Ambrose Pierce, Gene Pierce, and James Pierce; half-brother, Bill Pierce; sisters, Velma Brown, Etta Shell, and Ada Blevins.Survivors are her sister, Billie Fuston and half-sister, Doris Howard; her close friend, Mary Helen Picca; several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be Tuesday, Sept. 17, at 9:30 a.m. in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home, Battlefield Parkway with the Rev. Bill Gardner officiating. Burial will be at Chattanooga National Cemetery. Friends may visit www.heritagefh.com to offer condolences to the family. The family will receive friends today from 4-8 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, Battlefield Parkway.
