David Graves

David L. Graves, of Hixson, departed his earthly life on Friday, April 4, 2014. David was born in Chattanooga and was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga/ Hixson area. He retired from DuPont Corp. David was an avid golfer. He was a member of Dallas Bay Baptist Church. David was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Graves; parents, Henry and Martha Graves. David is survived by his daughter, Teresa (Monty) Bishop; son, Russell ( Kim) Graves ; grandchildren, Ryan and Evan Bishop. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday at the North Chapel Funeral service for David will follow at 1 p.m. on Monday in the Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral home, North Chapel with Dr. David McNabb officiating. The family has asked memorial contribution be made in Davids name to the Library Fund at Dallas Bay Baptist Church, 8305 Daisy Dallas Road, Hixson, TN 37343.
