Eddie Dillard

Eddie Dean Dillard, 53, died Friday, Jan. 31, 2014, in Warren, Mich. A lifetime resident of Rhea County, Eddie was the son of the late Albert and Edna Hale Dillard. He was a graduate of Rhea County High School. Eddie was a truck driver for 35 years and currently worked for M.H. Logistics. He was a member of the Living God Church. Eddie was preceded in death by three sisters. Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Fronie Sutton Dillard, of Evensville; children, Melissa Gonzalez, of Decatur, Tenn., Galend Lamb, of Spring City, and Ashley Fulton, of Athens, Tenn.; brothers, Gary Dillard, Roscoe Dillard and Wally Dillard, all of Dayton; and six grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 7, 2014, in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with Rev. Clyde Fitzgerald officiating. Interment will follow at Smith-Wilkey Cemetery in Spring City. The family will receive friendsfrom 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
