Joan Lambert

Joan Lambert, 75, a resident of Chattanooga, passed away on Monday, Jan. 27, 2014. She was born on July 7, 1938 to the late Paul "Curley" and Marie Kinsey. She had been a resident of Chattanooga for the past 33 years, after previously living in Summerville, Ga., and Dunlap, Tenn. In addition to her mother and father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Lambert; one daughter, Susan Croy; and brother, Ken Kinsey. She leaves behind to cherish her memory two daughters, Candice Williamson and Michelle (David) Stewart; one sister, Gretna Smithson; five grandchildren;, five great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two nephews; and two nieces. A service in Joans memory will be held in the chapel of the mausoleum at Hamilton Memorial Gardens at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014, with Dr. Harry Lawrence officiating. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Chattanooga Humane Society located at 212 N. Highland Park Ave., Chattanooga, TN 37404.
