Forrest Davis

Forrest Davis, 82, passed away Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014. He was a veteran of the US Army and a retired employee of the South Pittsburg Knitting Mill. His parents, Huling R. and Stella Mae Duke Davis, brother, Lloyd Davis and grandson, Christian Neil Webb preceded him in death. Mr. Davis is survived by his special friend, Peggy Jones; son, David F. (Patti) Davis, Florence, Ala.; daughter, Pamela D. (Neil) Webb, New Hope; sister, Jeanette Fay Chapman; grandchildren, Brian Davis, Montgomery, Ala., and John Austin Webb, New Hope. Funeral services will be conducted from the funeral home chapel on Monday, Jan. 20, 2014 at 1 p.m. CST with Bro. Ronnie Case officiating. Interment will follow in Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens, with military honors provided by the Sequatchie Valley Honor Guard. The family will receive friends from 3-8 p.m. CST, today and from 10 a.m. until time of the service on Monday.
