Shirley Dodd

Shirley Ann Stanford Dodd, 67, of Hixson, Tenn., passed away Saturday, May 17, 2014. She was of the Baptist Faith. Shirley was a cook at Redbank High School for the Hamilton County School System where she won several awards for her baking skills. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lillie Mae Smith Stanford. Shirley is survived by her father, Clifford J. Stanford; her brother, Randy J. (Penny)Stanford; her sisters, Doris (Philip) Arnold, Joyce (Roger) Woodward and Renee' (Tony) Blaylock; her nephews, Tony (Angela Watkins) Woodward, Jason Arnold, Austin Stanford, Beau Blaylock; her nieces, Nicole Cunningham and Alex Stanford; her great-nephew, Corbyn Cunningham; her great-niece, Chloe Cunningham and several aunts and uncles. The funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday, May 19, 2014 at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home, with Reverend Michael Combs officiating. Burial will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Visitation is 3-9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Her special friends in Shirley's Club will deeply miss her.
