Lewis Scott

Lewis Earl Scott, age 90 of Pelham, Tennessee passed from this life on Saturday, May 17, 2014, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. He was born February 4, 1924 in Pelham; the son of the late James Daniel and Frankie (Cox) Scott. He served his country in the US Army and was a Veteran of World War II. Mr. Scott was a truck driver. Lewis was preceded in death by grandson, Daniel Shane Scott; and sister, Leslie Watson. Surviving are sons, Lewis Edwin "Eddie" (Christine) Scott of Estill Springs, TN and James Fredrick "Freddie" Scott of Pelham, TN; daughter, Sharon Gay (Frankie) Nunley of Pelham, TN; and sister, Inez Watson. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 21, 2014 in the Moore-Cortner Chapel with Rev. Troy Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Warren Cemetery, Pelham, TN.
