Shirley Fryar

Shirley June Tucker Fryar died peacefully at home on Friday, May 16, surrounded by her family. She was a lifelong member of Lookout Valley Presbyterian Church. The widow of Clyde F. Fryar, she was preceded in death by her parents, Roy T. Tucker and Sarah Elizabeth Jackson Tucker, and her brother, Tommy Tucker. She leaves four children to cherish her memory: Betsy, Chris (Teresa), Brad (Gwen) and Ken (Caryn) Fryar. Beloved grandmother of Nicole, Chelsea (Jon), Chandler, Brady and Emma. Other survivors include her sisters Audrey Drew, Lynda McKeel and Donna Longshore. Jack and Ellen Fryar and Vera Mae Fryar are surviving in-laws. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. today at Lookout Valley Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Grady Davidson and the Rev. Everett Gossett officiating. Burial will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens, West. Pallbearers include Chandler Fryar, Brady Fryar, Jon Risley, Steve Fryar, Ron Tucker, Matt Hale, Scott Drew and Mike Patrick. Please join us and wear bright, cheerful colors as we celebrate Shirleys homegoing.
