JASPER Geraldine Young, 86, passed away Monday, Feb. 6, 2012.She attended Grace Baptist Church and had worked at South Pittsburg Knitting Mill for 26 years.Mrs. Young was preceded in death by parents, Lonnie and Amanda Durham Peoples; sister, Ailene Gothard; and brother, Milton Peoples.She is survived by her husband, George Young; son, James Young; daughters, Lylia (Frank) Frame, Wanda (Kenneth) Frame, Shelby (Carl) Taylor and Carol Young Roberts; sisters, Melba Rorex, Betty Marshall, Mary Katherine Blevins and Henrietta Cruze; grandchildren, Melanie Frame Raulston, Lisa Frame Olinger, Kenny Frame, Khristopher Frame, Lindsey Roberts and Kari Roberts and 11 great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be conducted from the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. CST on Thursday, Feb. 9, 2012, with Brother Ronnie Case officiating.Interment will follow in Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.The family will receive friends from 5 until 9 p.m. CST today, Feb. 8, 2012.Online condolences can be made at www.tatefh.com.Arrangements by Tate Funeral Home, Jasper, Tenn., 423-942-9500.
