Mary Sue "Non" Ellard Woods, 88, entered the gates of heaven on Sunday, Aug. 18, 2013, forever to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Woodrow Woods Sr.; and her parents, Claude Montgomery and Ora Etta Ellard.Born in Birmingham, Ala., she was one of nine wonderful brothers and sisters. She loved, cherished and prayed continually for her children grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Harry W. (and Sharon Scott) Woods Jr., Lance (and Tammy) Woods and Kaitlyn, Chris (and Cammy) Woods and Perry; Mrs. Winfred (Karen Sue Woods) Ramsey, Melanie Allyson Burchfield Griffey and Allyson, Bennett and Landon, and Mrs. TJ (Jennifer Kay) Peck and Spencer."Non" never met a stranger and always always always sent them away with "May the Lord bless and keep you, make his face shine upon you, keep you now and forever more." She was a Cub Scout leader, a Sunday School teacher at East Ridge Church of God, a substitute teacher at Woodmore Elementary, a coachs wife, a hearing aid Audiologist, secretary for AGLOW for 12 years, the most wonderful wife, mother and grandmother ever! She lived a full life loving her Lord and sharing always Gods grace and mercy and the salvation given freely from our Lord Jesus Christ. To all her many great-nieces and nephews and friends...she says "May the Lord bless you and keep you and make His face shine upon you, keep you now and forever more." Amen.Funeral services are 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace.Interment will follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery.Visit to share condolences.Visitation is 9:30-11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace, 877-352
