ROSSVILLE William "Billy" McDonald, 65, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, Feb, 5, 2013.He was a lifelong resident of the North Georgia areas and was of the Baptist faith. He was a self-employed mechanic for most of his life and will be sadly missed by all that knew him.He was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Maxine McDonald; and daughter, Sherri McDonald.Survivors include his daughters and son-in-law, Vicki McDonald Pell, of Chattanooga and Jinna McDonald (Donnie Sorrells), of Rossville; brother and sister-in-law, John "Bobby" (Connie) McDonald, of Rossville; sister and brother-in-law, Sue (Steve) Forrister, of Cedartown, Ga.; two grandchildren, Sara McDonald and Andy Pell; three great-grandchildren, Amber, Damien and Vega Miller and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, 2013 in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel with Rev. Jim Bennett officiating.Burial will follow in Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.The family will begin receiving friends after 4 p.m. today and prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.Arrangements are by W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home, Fort Oglethorpe.
