RINGGOLD Raymond Edzel Sullivan, 85, passed away Tuesday July 9, 2013.A resident of the Ringgold area for the past 20 years, he was a former employee of Walden Security, a Retired Veteran of the U.S. Army where he served during World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War and was of the Baptist faith.He was preceded in death by his parents, Cade and Ella Cope Sullivan; and three sisters, Louise "Bill" Daniel, Lena "Jack" Tinker and Ruby "Sam" Davidson.He is survived by his wife, Barbara Mozingo Sullivan, of Ringgold; five children, Linda Grant (Charles), of East Ridge, Karen Bowls, of Mobile, Ala., David Sullivan (Terri), of Dalton, Ga., Danny Sullivan (Vicki), of Cheltenham, Md., and Donny Sullivan (Amanda) of Stevenson, Ala.; three stepchildren, Sherry Kirby, of Ringgold, Wanda Dean, of Ringgold, and Keith Rowland, of Summerville, Ga.; brother, George Sullivan, of Trenton; 10 grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel.Interment will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 3-9 p.m. today and until funeral time Friday at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the funeral home for funeral services.An online register book may be signed at www.wilsonfuneralhome.com.Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home Wallis-Stewart Chapel Ringgold, Georgia.
