Dr. Dr. Jon Edmond Fleetwood, passed away peacefully in The Villages, Fla., Friday June 21, 2013. He was born Aug. 14, 1940.Jon was preceded in death by both his parents, Evelyn and Henry Fleetwood; two of his brothers, Mike and Glen Fleetwood; and the mother of his children, Donna Baker Fleetwood.The survivors of Jon include his other two brothers, Dennis and David Fleetwood; his four children and their spouses, Jeannie and Aaron Siegel; Jill and Robbie Moulton; Jeff and Mia Fleetwood; Jordan Fleetwood; and his five grandchildren, Donna Marie and Emma Siegel, Olive and Woodman Moulton, and Gray Fleetwood.Jon and Donna moved to Chattanooga, from Chicago, Ill., in 1967 with the visions of putting down roots. There they continued building a family and began establishing the Chattanooga Podiatry Center. Throughout Jons journey in life he enjoyed many different things; from being a respected doctor in the community, to the passionate baseball coach at the Harrison Ruritan Club, to enjoying entertaining family and friends at his home on the lake. In 2007, after many years in Chattanooga, he decided to retire in The Villages, where he enjoyed regular golfing outings, pickle-ball, and gathering with new found friends from his neighborhood.Friends and family members celebrated his life today, June 23, in The Villages, Fla.A Memorial Service is planned from 4-6 p.m. on Wednesday, July 31, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help located at 501 S.Moore Road in the Holy Family Hall.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made online via the American Cancer Society at otherwise, you can donate by phone 1-800-227-2345, or by mail: American Cancer Society, P.O.
