Mary ParhamMary Lee Parham, 81, of Chattanooga, passed away at her home Thursday, June 20, 2013.She was born in Tupelo, Miss., to her parents the late Samuel David and Annie V. Cox Bishop. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Neely D. Adams Jr.; sister, Earlene Hollingshead; and nephew, Ronnie Brokus.She was East Ridge Church of Christ secretary for 22 years. She established the International School in Ghana, West Africa. Mary loved the Lord, her family reading and traveling.Surviving relatives; husband of 46 years, Roy C. Parham; sons, Nick (Cristy) Adams, of East Ridge, Doug Parham, of East Ridge, Rod (Sharon) Parham, of Chattanooga, Chuck Patty of Louisville, Ky.; daughters, Kathy (Butch) Hannah, of Hixson, Teresa (Joey) Horton, of Red Bank; grandchildren, Jeff (Melissa) Hannah, of N. Little Rock, Ark., Matt (Mandy) Hannah, of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Brian Hannah of Chattanooga, Joseph(Lauren) Horton, of Winchester, Tenn., Patrick (Diana) Horton, of Greenville, S.C., Neal Adams, of Chattanooga, Tyler Adams, of Osaka, Japan; great-grandchildren, Malie, Murphy, Macey and Maclaine Hannah, Elise and Neely Horton; brother, William W. (Sally) Bishop, of Atlanta, Ga.; everal nieces and nephews and other relatives.Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. today, June 23, at East Ridge Church of Christ with Ministers Charles Cochran and Joseph Horton, officiating.The interment will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.Visit to share words of comfort to the family and view the memorial tribute.In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contributions be made to: Ghana West Africa Mission in c/o Red Bank Church of Christ or East Ridge Church of Christ.Heritage Funeral Home, 7454 East Brainerd Road.
