Lamar Proctor


RINGGOLD Lamar Proctor, 83, went home to be with the Lord Monday April 29, 2013.He was a lifelong resident of Catoosa County and was retired from House Hasson Wholesale Hardware Supplies after 27 years of service.Mr. Proctor was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was a member of Shield Baptist Church in Chickamauga and was a former member of Cloud Springs Baptist Church where he served as deacon for many years.Lamar was a 60 year member of the Thompkins Masonic Lodge in Fort Oglethorpe.Survivors include his loving wife of 64 years, Betty Bailey Proctor; son, Tim (Joy) Proctor; daughters, Karen (Steve) Robinson, Melissa (Rick) Collins, all of Ringgold; brother Joe, Proctor, of Chattanooga; sister, Linda Manton, of Ringgold; grandchildren, Josh and Chad Robinson, Tyler, Peyton and Madison Proctor; two great-grandchildren Alaina and Briana Robinson.Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Bill Proctor and Rev. Jerry Pike officiating. Interment in Tennessee- Georgia Memorial Park,visit to view the memorial tribute and share words of comfort with the family.The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Friday at Heritage Funeral Home and Crematory.
