Sonja Suesan Downhour, 76, of Red Bank, died Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at her home.Mrs. Downhour was born in Kodiak, Alaska and had lived in Chattanooga for the past 15 years. She had worked for Children's Orthopedic Hospital in Seattle, Wash., with 10 years of service. She was the daughter of the late Stanley and Mary Anderson Thorshein and was preceded in death by a brother.Survivors include two sons, Rusty Downhour, Warsaw, Ind., Dusty Downhour, Red Bank; two daughters, Kim Harris, Red Bank; Sandra Cochran, Denver, Colo.; brother, Russell Thorshein, eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren.There will be no services or visitation.Arrangements are by Hamilton Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 4506 Hixson Pike. 423-531-3975.
