James W. "Bill" Trotter, 79, passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2013. He was a Korean Veteran and was a retired Captain of the Chattanooga Fire Department with 25 years of service. Bill was a member of Morris Hill Baptist Church.He was preceded in death by father and mother, Ernest Trotter and Edna Kincer; brother, Robert A. Trotter.Surviving relatives, wife of 60 years, Mona Duggan Trotter; son, Denny (Missy) Trotter, of Cleveland, Tenn.; daughter, Karen (Steve) Kizziah, of Chattanooga; brothers, Gene, Lamar and Jimmy Trotter; sister, Judy Lovern; grandsons, Brandon Allen and Drew Kizziah; granddaughters, Baylee and Britny Latham and Natalie Kizziah; and several nieces and nephews.Family and friends will assemble at 2 p.m. Monday, May 13, at Chattanooga National Cemetery for a Graveside memorial service with the Rev. Bill Mason and the Rev. Royce Powell officiating.
