James Cooper

James Ray Cooper, 41, passed away Thursday, Nov. 14, 2013. He was a lifelong resident of the North Georgia area and was of the Baptist faith. He was employed with M & M Industrial as a Mechanic and was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather who will greatly be missed by all that knew him. He was preceded in death by his father, James Lee Cooper; mother, Ellen McDade Chambers; brother, Robbie McDade and sister, Rhonda Carson. Survivors include his loving wife, Donna Devries Cooper; children, Amanda Stanley, Haley Stanley and Jayden Cooper, all of Trenton, Ga.; brother, Jimmy Cooper, of Rossville, Ga., and granddaughter, Jasmine Stanley. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 18, in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel with Bro. Mark Bowman officiating. Burial will be held at 1:30 p.m. EST in the New Home Cemetery in Henegar, AL. The family will begin receiving friends after 2 p.m. today and prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home.
