Charles Kaylor


Sr.DAYTON Charles Earl Kaylor Sr., 81, died Sunday, Oct. 20, 2013, at his home.He was a lifelong resident of Dayton. A retired veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Korean Conflict. He was awarded the Silver Star and many other ribbons and medals for his service.He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucy Elizabeth Kaylor; two sons, Max Tallent Jr. and James Howard Tallent; two brothers, Perry and George Kaylor.Survivors include two daughters, Maxine (Doyle) Creasman, of Graysville, Tenn., Gerrell Kaylor, of Dayton; four sons, Earl "Bo" Kaylor, Dayton, Charles (Linda) Kaylor, of Graysville, Tenn., George Kaylor, Dayton, and Randy (Emily) Kaylor, of Hixson; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.Funeral will be noon today in the chapel of Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home with the Rev.
