Charles William Lowe, 78, formerly of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Fort Oglethorpe, Ga., went home to meet his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday Oct. 25 in Huntsville, Ala. He was a professional florist in the Chattanooga area for over 50 years and a long time member of Duncan Park Baptist Church. Mr. Lowe was the son of the late Leonard and Ophelia Lowe. He was preceded in death by the love of his life and wife of 56 years, Judith Morris Lowe; and his brothers Thomas, Elward, and Frank Lowe. Mr. Lowe is survived by children Lisa (Robert) Karl, Huntsville, Ala., Martha (Gary) Lavender, Huntsville, Ala., Karen (Martin) Lawson, Lexington Park, MD., Christopher (Karen) Lowe, Ringgold, Ga.; sisters Jeanette Legg, Chattanooga, Tenn., and Patsy Luce, Nashville, Tenn.; brothers Roy Lowe, Chattanooga, Tenn., and Daniel Lowe, Chattanooga, Tenn.; and many beloved nieces and nephews. His memory will also live on in the lives of his 8 wonderful grandchildren Joshua (Lindsay) Burroughs, Huntsville, Ala., Ryan (Katie) Burroughs, Huntsville, Ala., Meredith Barbee, Huntsville, Ala., Brandon and Nicholas Lowe, Ringgold, Ga., Marissa and Ashley Lavender, Huntsville, Ala., Kayla Lawson (US Navy) and his precious great-grandson Liam Burroughs, Huntsville, Ala.The family will receive friends Monday Oct. 28, from 3-7 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, Battlefield Parkway. Funeral services will be Tuesday Oct. 29, at 1 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, Battlefield Parkway, chapel with the Rev. Jeff Jackson officiating. Interment will be in Anderson Memorial Gardens.
