Their aides are having to deal with longer lines and fewer prospects of a raise. Such are the indignities thrust upon the people who brought the country $85 billion in automatic government spending cuts this month. "We've drastically reduced travel both for myself and my staff," said Campbell, who must go cross-country to visit his southern California district.
