A park in Georgia doesn’t need a lush view of trees and mountains to make it beautiful.

The room smells of burnt incense and herbs. Crescent moons decorate the walls and shelves. A portrait of Jesus Christ is among the wall decorations.

Efforts to repair and restore areas battered Thursday by winds that tore off roofs, tumbled trees across roads and yanked down power lines will continue throughout the weekend.

A storm Thursday produced winds strong enough to cause problems ranging from a boat capsizing on water to spreading brush fires on land.
