Video: USA Cycling Professional racers ride through Chattanooga

Thousands watched as the USA Cycling Professional Men's and Women's road racers traveled through Chattanooga on Monday. Jade Wilcoxson won the women's race, while veteran Freddie Rodriguez won the men's race. This was the first year for Chattanooga to host the race, which will return in 2014 and 2015.

Don't count the old man out just yet.

It was a great day for the Optum presented by Kelly Benefit Strategies women's pro cycling team. A really great day.

Every sport needs its referees, and professional cycling is no different.

Thomas Zirbel rode a spectacular time trial.

Carmen Small won a national championship on Saturday by the smallest of margins, edging Kristin McGrath by a single second to win the USA Cycling Professional Women's Time Trial competition Saturday at the Chattanooga Volkswagen Plant.
