My concern is these people claiming that they speak for me. They have never asked me what I think and they will never ask because they don't want to know. Therefore they do not speak for me. Their platform is largely the product of smoking too much weed. Free college education? Who will pay for it? Cancellation of all debt? How many will lose their jobs if we do that? Most of what they want sounds like utopia...the kind you find in communist countries.
I suppose those who oppose hunting would prefer that the deer population goes out of control and the deer begin starving and dying from disease.
veritas, you hit the nail squarely. I can see the "twinkie defense" coming all the way across the room. I think these two are simply lazy bums and con artists who decided to scam through their appearance as benevolent Christians. Although from looking at that lady I can't imagine ever trusting her alone with anything. She'd eat pens, pencils, papers, checks.....etc.
I am concerned that the media is witch hunting in the bushes surrounding the double fatality in the area. Neither of the kids were driving so why does their BA need to be broadcast? A BA reading is subjective when applied to driving situations and has no merit when falsely applied to two people who lost their lives. How about those of you in the media showing compassion to the families?
I have very fond memories of Norman. He was dedicated and determined in his life. God bless his family and give him peace and rest.
I don't believe that any group should be given any sort of preference. They want to whine and moan about how they are oppressed, but the more they get the more they want. Enough. I also want society to stop referring to homosexual males as "gay". The word should have no sexual meaning. Can someone explain why society has to constantly listen to a special interest group talk about their sexual preference? I don't spout off about my sex life and I damned sure don't want to listen to anybody else talk about theirs.
I had the privilege of knowing E.Y. personally and professionally. He was a treasure. May God be with his family.
It should be a shame that Erlanger's management team "promised" their employees that they would have jobs and then backpedalled on them and made sure they wouldn't have jobs. Unfortunately it can't be because Erlangers political hacks have no shame.
Wow! A writer from New York. Obviously he always wears his city-issued nose plugs when he's in the big apple. Talk about stench and that city immediately comes to mind. It isn't simply an olfactory insult. It is a dirty, filthy place. From my home in New Hampshire to my mother's home in the Chattanooga area can be a nice journey if you avoid New York City. I drive hundreds of miles out of my way coming south simply to avoid New York. That writer needs to look close to home for a place to criticize.
