This is my last comment...I think. The more I consider this story, the less it works. You couldn't go on the run without taking your family, but you could go off to Florida to party with Brian for several weeks.....that don't work either. I can do this all day - just pick holes in this fairy tale but I won't. What I will do is keep following this story and when your parole date comes up, make sure the parole board is asking you these same questions. I'm not even a cop, just have good street smarts and this story is like an old worn out pincushion full of holes.

No, I think this is where you started to smell freedom via possible parole, and figured first off, you got away with murder, second, you told a big fish story that the jury swallowed, and third, if you looked like a really sorrowful, regretful killer, you could make them swallow another one and get you outta there.

I was once a drug user. I've run all over the streets from Nashville to Knoxville. Man, the story you're telling don't add up for this area. You need to just tell the real story. At the very least, I know the dude wasn't wearing a suit (if he existed) and I know it wasn't no $150k. Your "friend" couldn't have spread $146,000 of it around Soddy Daisy without being noticed. I know that. You can't spread that around Knoxville without someone noticing even by today's standards, unless Brian buried it, and if you were getting beat for it, I'm thinking he would have been willing to go dig it up and give it back instead of taking beatings for it. I think the real amount was $4000 to start with and maybe a few 8 balls and ya'll ;) headed to Florida to party on it, hoping it would be forgotten by the time you came back, but it wasn't. I think you were in on stealing it and maybe, just maybe it was originally Brian's idea and you just regretted having went along with it and killing him was your way out of it. But more likely that whole story is a pile of poo. You probably killed him over a girl or something, or maybe the two of you did something else and the only way to keep the secret was to silence the only other person that knew. I just hope Brian was the only one killed and you didn't kill him to keep him quiet about a previous killing you both were in on. Tell the whole story, man.

FIVE lives over and two hurt badly, many more lives demolished or ruined by the injuries and deaths, and of course the dumba** drunk gets to live.
