Hello BlckFemLibNproud,
Wow that’s a mouthful, but rolls off the tongue when broken into 5 syllables and said quickly.
May I be the first to welcome you to the lunatics, chowder heads, retards, genius’s, paranoics’ brooders, racists, comedians and critics town square. Try not to think of it as a cafeteria full of yelling elementary school kids. You’ll find a few here that’ll do anything to start a food fight but I’m sure you’ll hold up your garbage can lid of freedom (ooh that was bad) to deflect the incoming debris.
Very nice web site. Amazing isn’t it just how much color and vibrancy there is in what at first looks like a dull grey city. Even a cubist mono color shapes can have great depth.
When I was young, I commented to my mother about a ‘red coat’ or seeing other colors in B&W photography. I didn’t even realize it until she pointed it out to me. I saw some color in yours. Nicely done Ms. Cantrell.
Your avatar is pretty neat. Is that a caricature?
Regards, Limric
P.S. Try the Yashica. You’ll be glad you did. If you can still find film for it.
Politics aside, your photography is very well done - some beautiful stuff.
Thanks Sailorman! I have to get some newer shots up there but for the most part those are my favorite photos.Thank you as well limric although half the time I can't decipher between your compliments and insults (ie “garbage can lid of freedom”) haha, going to have to watch out for you. The name is a mouth full, I thought it might be a bit “in your face” but that’s me I guess. The avatar is a caricature but my hair is a little shorter now and I’ve axed the bangs. So far the experience on TFP has been like being in a shark tank but for the most part everyone seems cool.
Thanks for the welcome and writing on my wall.
I'm so glad that you're here! We need more pushy broads to balance out the testosterone around here! I have been enjoying your posts. I especially liked your strong and well-reasoned response to the profiling comment a couple of days ago.
It seems that we have a couple of things in common.... I work as a designer/artist and I see that you are very creative and interested in fashion. Is your work in fashion as a stylist or as a designer? And.... Germany. It's been many years since I moved to the US, but most of my family is still in Germany. How long have you been back in the states?
I tried to look at your website, but my iPad doesn't have a flash-drive. SO frustrating! I thought that it would be a great lightweight choice for presenting my portfolio, but there are some serious limitations. I'll have to wait until I have access to a REAL computer.
Anyway... I'm looking forward to seeing more from you!

Thanks for note! That was very cool. I checked out your photos and admire your ability to practice your craft professionally. I know how rewarding that can be.
Sorry it took so long to respond. We are in the middle of a remodeling project and I'm not as young as I used to be (that's a stupid thing to say! Who's 'younger than they used to be?')
Sometimes I might come across as grumpy or arrogant but I probably try to hard for irony, sarcasm, and gallows humor.
Anyway, I enjoy your posts very much - you're a great addition to the voices!
BlckFemiLibNproud,
It is great to have you here. You seem to be warm and caring person of the type we need more of in this world. I've spent a few weeks in Wiesbaden, loved Germany, especially the driving. I wish we could be more like Germany in that regard.
Fredrick Bastiat warned us that an overreaching government invites unrest and anger. You cannot expect to fit everyone into one bureaucratic template and expect anyone to be satisfied. If I ever get a little over zealous in my campaign for our freedom please accept my apologies in advance.
Hello it's the light house man here at your service.
Hey by the way what is your favorite US Army MOS ?
I was in JROTC in high school in Oakland CA back in the mid 1980's and i was a privite comedy class. As far as what i like in that department is in the direction of Military Science / Special Operations / Military Inteligence......etc. and stuff like that.
I asked the question because it's good to see sexy women such as your self having fun with knowing about the armed forces of the USA. My mom and dad was in the US Navy. My mother was a Yoman and my dad was a officer which is how they met and then the stork came by and out popped me...lol.
Amanda it's good to see a downtown Julie Brown figure here on CTFP and it's a pleasure having you as a friend.
Thank you and have a wonderful posting day on the boards.
