5- Golf clap-a-dap for the Furman alum that took it upon themselves to revive the mulla deficient golf team. For my money that's taking care of bidness, putting your own 'skins' in the game.

For the record people like Elk (borderline humorous), Dixie Chicks (spot on), Ted Nugent (derelict/dangerous) are more than welcome to their opinions in this free nation. And that's a GREAT thing! The selective Christians who stump on religious values only when it's convenient..way more offensive!!

Remember the Bible condemns ALL immorality, including the premarital kind most of us at one time or another had a robust appetite for, except Timmy Tebow, Lolo and maybe BYU students.

Jay- I recently saw where Kevin Durant wants to drop the 'Slim Reaper' moniker and the more docile 'KD' and now be know as 'The Servant'.

Is it ok to come up with your own nickname and what's a Rushmore of sporting tags look like?

I always liked 'Donny Baseball' and 'The Shark', 'Tiger' surely (don't all me Shirley) belongs. What say you?

5 Talking trash.. In the 96' western conf finals on the way to the Stanley Cup, Patrick Roy blasted Jeremy Roenick Saying " he couldn't hear what Jeremy says because my 2 Stanley Cup rings are plugging my ears". Roy ended up with 4 rings, Roenick 0.

That's Rushmore worthy.

I like what Baldwin said, Carter should tone it down.

As a kid growing up in Denver I cried my eyes out in 77'. The next four Mondays after SB loses didn't get any easier. As a fan of only one team you realize it rarely ever ends well. Makes the 97-98 years that much sweeter!

As far as legacy I think even if he had won PM wouldn't supplant Elway as the greatest Bronco to most Bronco fans. If in 30 yrs Payton makes it out for the pre game coin toss doubtful he sports the fur lined leather but Broadway Joe sure rocked it!

Best commercial..TEBOW!! Glad to see he somehow made it into a Super Bowl!

Fe to the C (?)

I feel your pain. When eligible Jimmy Johnson and Shannahan probably get in on first vote, while Seifort and Coughlin and Flores maybe never. I think Dungy gets in tomorrow, deservedly so. Perception/timing who knows.

5-- Over the last 10-12 yrs a handful of NFL coaches have lost a SB. Fischer, Reed, Fox, Smith,Whis,Caldwell. All have subsequently been fired and rehired elsewhere. Fox is the only one to reach another SB-so far. His profile remains very low it seems. Even this week Carroll is all the rage despite Fox is being youngerwith a nice resume.

A nice run with Carolina and SB appearance w/Denver (maybe win) would make him close to Dungy and possible HOF coach? What say you?

5-- Listened to press row yesterday but couldn't call in as I was busy hauling sleds and inner tubes all about my hood'. Wanted to mention Elway doing the helicopter move v. Green Bay in a classic game that also went down to the last play.

As far Davis and Smith being on the Broncos ring of fame, they are truly beloved in Denver if not in the (423).

Smith 12 yrs 3 Pro Bowls 2-time All Pro 2 SB Most receptions, yards and TDs of undrafted player in history

Terrell Davis 8 postseason games--1,140 yds,12 TDs, 7 straight games over 100yds. 90 plus in the other. SB MVP League MVP 2SB 3 time all pro 2,000 yd season (only 7 to do it)

Ring of fame indeed..

5-- I think Denver caught a break when Seattle won last week, much like the last time they won the SB. (Still not sure how the Falcons beat that Vikings team). The Seahawks just won't be able to score enough on Sunday. And any comparison to the D of the 85 bears or even the 02 Bucs should just stop now. If the best player on D is a corner..good luck with that.

The Grammys were money..Caldwell Banker had an awesome spot with a nod to Motley Crüe.

Weekend golf reminded me a lot of pre-Tiger era golf-fun only for the winner..come back Tiger..please!
