You people are sick. Why aren't you trolling the articles about that white woman who just smothered her newborns? Or the white guy who just dragged an 80 year-old woman trying to steal her purse??? Crime happens everywhere, and criminals are of every race. There is a special place in Hell for bigots and hypocrites....

Once people grow dependent on public assistance, they rarely come out of it and its passed on down to the next generation. I'm not saying the projects MAKE them act this way, but I grew up in a black middle class suburb and we weren't fighting in the damn yard like animals or shooting each other. There is a certain correlation with behavior and socio-economic conditions.

Not only do I blame the guy who shot him, I blame his idiot mother and sisters for fighting in the yard like dogs and calling him out for help in the foolery!! And also, if generations live and die in the projects, they have no hope therefore why not act like this? The PJs are a dead end. The same people who complain about welfare queens, the projects, etc... need to push to have the projects torn down, and these people intergrated into society like human beings. Not piled up in the projects!!

Congrats to this young man, and his mother for raising him right!

@ Conservative - how has social security failed? Talk to elderly people on fixed income and say that and see what response you get. For some that is their only means to survive! Not everyone has IRAs, stocks and bonds to fall back on.

@ Shifarobe - if all you have to rebut with is racist garbage then GTFOH... Is there a substantial answer to how the GOP is better other than they are white and rich and know how to stay that way?

BTG, a lot of his agendas have been disappointments I agree. But you have to admit that some legislation he and other democrats propose falter because the GOP has not compromised with really any of them. I'm disgusted with all the posturing and heel-digging; it is so transparent. Both parties can figure out a way that works, Jesus! They are (supposed to be) intelligent people but they bicker like kids!

This proposal initially sounds reasonable for heavens sake. He said everything should be paid for, so if that reveals itself to be true I don't see what the problem is. The Sheeple immediately come out bleating against it for NO REASON.... well other than they hate the President no matter what he does and wanted him to fail since day one

LOL...nobody bothers us. Even if they did, I am a licensed gun owner so I'm really not worried

L4F actually 2/3 of violent crimes are committed by whites so that statement is not true. Crime among blacks may not be reported as much in those type of neighborhoods, but do you see police scrambling to protect those people? No...that's how "Don't Snitch" got started. You will most likely face retaliation and those people are not protected by police and do not have the resources to get out of those neighborhoods of their own accord. How or why they live in the ghetto in the first place is a whole other topic. But typically cops do not care about the safety of blacks so in turn it creates a distrust for cops in the black community.

Personally I don't agree with this but then again i don't live in that type of neighborhood so I can't really be objective.

But case in point, I was robbed by 2 white guys that lived in the neighborhood. Called the police, gave their names and where they lived. They were never arrested. In fact, I was accused of everything under the sun and when I called the detective's office my calls were never returned.
