Reardon....you're correct; I guess Clay thought if he drew it correctly the right wouldn't get it. Unwittingly, the label "Obamacare" created by the right will be a shining legacy for Obama for generations to come when this country finally has universal health coverage.
Back to the t-party. I assume the luggage contains cash from their wealthy donors or one-way tickets from their opponents. Their political influence has fizzled-out before its time.
What the f-word is this country coming to when we all become so sensitive that words become taboo. Words are a reflection of what's in the heart--that's what we need to worry about changing.

Want to know why the union was defeated? Follow the money. Our state's "right to work" main purpose was to overcome union intimidation over workers. Maybe it should be amended to include workers' rights to work without political and other outside intimidation.
The toon is about drivers, not politicians. With all the carpet-baggers who've moved into the South the past few years, they should have taught us ignorant Southerners how to drive by now.
Union busting has always been popular with politicians, but it was the unions that helped elevate the middle-class in the latter half of last century. Demise of the unions did not stop corporations from transferring jobs overseas. Modern corporations have begun to realize the benefits of unions attracting, training and maintaining a quality workforce. Unions have also begun to realize the benefit of the carrot over the stick mentality in their dealings with management.
The millions of unemployed desperately needing jobs are elated about those leaving "insurance jobs" for Obamacare; it will open a whole new arena of opportunity. Employers will find those eager to work more productive than those eager to leave their "stuck jobs".
Wow, that's a little unnerving image just before bedtime. There are many moral reasons to terminate pre-births, but there are no moral reasons to let children be born into poverty, hunger and sickness in this country of unequal distributed wealth.
This weekend as we honor one man who put it all on the line for his beliefs in a better country for his people, let's not forget Snowden who one day will be recognized as a patriot by the same government who now has him labeled a traitor.
