The effort to add One North Shore to Normal Park School zone is on the table due to various VW types who've been living there getting ready to leave Chattanooga to rotate to other global assignments...This mean the revenue stream for the VW rentals will be going away...It would not take much digging to verify whether or not Mr. Donn Calvin Baker and/or Friends of The Festival have received any consideration - monetary or otherwise - from the builders and developers of One North Shore...Jeff Styles, who works for Mr. Baker, also shills On Air for One North Shore...It's common knowledge some of the Riverbend Festival acts have been afforded accommodations there...Throw in the fact Mr. Fletcher Bright - sales front for One North Shore - is the principal behind Three Sisters Bluegrass Festival - held on the Friends of The Festival-controlled riverfront - and you've got a heady mix of potential/seeming conflicts of interest...While y'all are at it, why not determine once and for all whether or not charging $5,000 per head to attend a public school - a defacto violation of the Tennessee State Constitution that has been acknowledged by Ms. Jill Levine publicly - meets the standard for unlawful behavior?

TFP should look up proprietor of Fountain Drugs, who made a significant investment of time, money and effort to put a clean, fully-stocked, well-lit drug store in this location - replete with light groceries and "open all day" lunch counter - only to have the principal players conspire and act to "take him down" to facilitate the warped extravaganza we're now saddled with...

Days spent sifting dirt and molding clay...That's some high-grade quality of life right there...NOT...It's my understanding the authorities had to pay a visit to these yurt-dwelling freaks in re: child welfare concerns a year or two ago...Delinquency, truancy, matted hair, open sores...Maybe even a runaway minor child or two...Mr. Gilligan can tell you all about it...Whether he is willing to is another matter...I'm sure the dirt huts they're building meet all relevant code requirements...I'm sure they've obtained all required permits and pay all required local, state and federal taxes as well...

Nice read...You TFP types should consider doing a similar in-depth piece on Tim McClendon...By all accounts he is a wonderful young man who may or may not be developmentally delayed...I've been told the principal adult figure in his life at this time is the Signal Mountain head football coach...Some who know him say the young Brainerd resident's home life leaves quite a bit to be desired...

TFP should query one Hamilton County School Board member (and rabid Signal Mountain Eagles fan) Donn Calvin "Some Call Him 'Chip'" Baker to determine at what point he became aware of this flagrant and troublesome rule-breaking and how he feels about it personally and politically...

"And I said, I don't care if they lay me off either, because I told, I told Bill that if they move my desk one more time, then, then I'm, I'm quitting, I'm going to quit. And, and I told Don too, because they've moved my desk four times already this year, and I used to be over by the window, and I could see the squirrels, and they were married, but then, they switched from the Swingline to the Boston stapler, but I kept my Swingline stapler because it didn't bind up as much, and I kept the staples for the Swingline stapler and it's not okay because if they take my stapler then I'll set the building on fire..."

Alright, since you TFP types don't seem to have a sense of humour, we'll try this again...In re: J. Todd Foster and "The Inquiring Camera Girl", was he seeking to comfort the afflicted or afflict the comfortable? http://www2.tricities.com/news/2010/jul/18/j_todd_foster_column_my_adventures_with_a_support-ar-345389/
