The problem for all of you with the higher mindsets is that your opinions bear up poorly when compared to the facts. Jesse's R.'s posse said more money is what it will take. So more money was spent, lots more. Results still stunk the place up. So now we are told that even more money should have been spent & all who disagree are racist, Jim Crow law supporters. But all 'em ignorant rednecks in Soddy Daisy High still outperform the rest of the county, even though their money was cut. This is where I begin to have trouble with this line of reasoning. Can one of you high minded leftists help clear me up?

Hey Centaire, should I assume that yo are proud of the job Favors has done of upholding your side of this or any other argument?

Sunday morning over breakfast I got to enjoy a front page hatchet job of Rhonda Thurman and anyone who agrees that the good ole boy network that has ruled the school system with an iron fist for a number of years now. Yesterday afternoon Andre Mcgary spent 3 hours ripping on Rhonda. Today I wake up to Styles & co. continuing the attack, and adding Tim into the mix. It seems as though those with progressive mindsets are in such deep morning over the passing of the reign of the progressive cabal once led by Jesse Register, Chip Baker, The PEF, Davis Lundy and the rest of the high minded elitists. This group once "made it rain" with taxpayer dollars. But it appears that once a hairdresser from Soddy Daisy pointed their doings out clearly, the taxpayers said "enough." So all that is left now is for the progressive standard bearers to cry racism, a return to Jim Crow, and cry that ignorant rednecks now hold the reigns once held by such progressive, big spending superstars as Jesse Register. The only problem is that as usual, ya'll will have to bury the facts before you wave your banners. Did a hairdresser from Soddy bring down this brain trust by herself? We've heard all the claims of her ignorance. Could she be that ignorant & this devious at the same time? She told the truth & once the public heard it, they said "Enough." Sorry boys.

As for Tim's conversation with that caricature of a politician, Jo Ann Favors, it had nothing to do with defending Rhonda. She seems to do pretty well at that herself. It had to do with her derogatory comments toward Soddy Daisy. Tim pointed out that he & lots of others in Soddy had much more education and ability to present their thoughts clearly than she did. And the rest of them were mostly high school educated, work a day people who deserved every bit as much respect as the folks in Ms Favors' district. At this point she proclaimed to have friends in Soddy Daisy. When Tim asked her if she could name 2 she mumbled a little & waddled off. Sorry again boys.

The truth will set you free, after you wipe the tears away.
