New TFP Format to save costs and keep it to one page!

Headline- FOOTBALL scores of UT and UTC games! (if in season, as that is most important news to the area) Something bad happened downtown. (no details..print just like this) Something bad happened in Hixson. Other sports scores. Fluff article on new restaurant. Gov't statistics. A/P article (cause the NY Times just used it!) (Local Business)___ is having a good/bad year. (Erlanger, BCBS, Krystal, Unum, ...your pick!) Letter to editor reduced to sentence to editor. 5 longest classified ads!

-Just a little parting humor!

Shutting it down over a few commentors? By that reasoning, wouldn't the gov't be shutting down some public housing complex's in Chattanooga due to a few bad apples causing many problems, instead of getting rid of those bad apples? Congratulations on political correctness winning out. Next up: Comedy! Cause that joke will have offended someone. Sorry "Laughman", you gotta go!

Just make sure on each article you publish, ask the question "Will we lose future advertising revenue over this? If so, don't print it!"

So now a kid will drink to intentionally get his parents thrown in jail because he didn't buy them a car for Christmas. I'll show them. This is an awful precedent.

To Kill A Mockingbird is a fantastic film (and book). 12 Angry Men (the original), Guess Who's Coming to Dinner, The Bishop's Wife...they have done awful remakes of these classics.

Maybe you ought to stop with 3 sequels and crappy stories? Soon as you make dime one, you start with a sequel to a mediocre movie. Or you try to rehash an updated version from your vaults with poor screenwriting.

Maybe people are tired of comedies designed for 12 year olds? I think it's the same writers of MTV garbage that you are using for scripts. For every decent movie hollywood comes up with, there are 25 that stink nowadays. I might go to one 1st run movie a year now.

I am originally from Philly, spent 31 years in Florida (less 4 years at college here in TN) and have been in Chatt a little over 2 years now.

1)- I agree the crime rate is somewhat shocking. Way too many people shot for this size of town.

2) - The cost of living here is much better than most of the country.

3) - We have no state income tax here.

4) - Jobs can be hard to come by, but get your foot in the door and prove what you can do. Even if that means taking a job at a temporary service.

Chatt area has a lot to offer, but still has room to grow. You may complain about Yankee's, but they make the best pizza. (I have tried most places here and it's awful.)

Doesn't it go back to parenting and being involved in your kids life? Too many single young mom's, with multiple kids by different daddies. That's a core problem across all races.

All those clubs and bars in Red Bank! What a joke. Better option would be to set up on Sunday's for anyone that went to church and received communion with wine. Free profiling for Red Bank's finest!

Is Red Bank within compliance for the state's new laws regarding red light cameras?
