SICKofBS's comment history

"Everywhere I turned, there was pleasant conversation and positive commentary until I landed on Fox News. "
"...but seems like the bitterness and twisted rhetoric has escalated to a new high." One thing you might notice is a lack of "dietary fiber supplements" on Fox. Maybe if there were more and the commentators would use them, the channel would change, if you catch my drift. Just sayin....

Orr, you are a blathering idiot spewing ignorant nonsense and have no credibility. You have spewed so much idiocy from your pie hole that there is not one thing anyone with a shred of intelligence would listen to and accept. I just wish I could figure out a way to be able to read these letters but block your ignorant, stupid hate filled crap from trashing up my screen.

"Abortion has decimated two generations in America since 1973. HELEN FUSSELL, Rossville, Ga."

I have seen this sentiment echoed many times, with different words, lately and I am astonished at the arrogance and ignorance of these people. First of all, you claim you want all these "God-given" rights (whatever that is supposed to actually mean) yet you want to deny a womens right to choose what she does with her own body. HER choice affects her, and not MASSES of people. Yet you same people scream about gun rights and when someone goes psycho, that one persons actions may, or may not, have deadly effects of MANY. Yet again, you scream and beat you bible bound head on the floor about how many innocents were killed by a medical procedure done behind closed doors as a decision by one women, for whatever reason. And your claim that the "generations are being decimated" are complete ignorant BS. Decimated means reduced to fraction, or just a small part, of what is was, put simplistically. (I'm trying to keep it to terms some can understand.) Hate to tell ya dearie, but the worlds population keeps growing and growing. Were are overcrowded. Maybe the "herd" does need thinning. But I digress. People who make this cry seem to think that abortion magically was created in recent decades. Wrong. It has been around for a loooong time. ( So basically, to paraphrase the recently departed very respected and sweet Pauline Phillips aka Dear Abby, MYOB. Mind Your Own Business, get your house in order, and stop trying to force others to live/conform to your beliefs. (Sorry for the long rant. My ADD and lack of coffee took over)

Orr, your reasoning makes no sense at all. You know, you dont even deserve a response because you are too ignorant to reason with.

I do not own any guns, have no need or desire to own a gun, yet I would never begrudge anyone the right to own a gun, within reason. But I would like to have this question answered reasonably and calmly and factually. What reason would anyone need to own and keep in their home any automatic or semi-automatic firearm? What reason would anyone need to possess in their home any ammunition that explodes on impact? Let me interject before this aspect is attempted to be argued. Yes, I agree law enforcement and military, possibly. But not kept in their home for personal use. For hunting possibly? NO!! That is not sportsmanship. To use weapons like that for hunting is a total abuse of the sport of hunting, no different that "juicing" for athletic competitions. So I ask again, what sane reason would ANYONE have for personal possession of automatic and/or semiautomatic firearms? If you can give a valid reason, then why not use a grenade launcher for hunting squirrel or rabbits? That's like lighting a cigarette with a flame thrower. I do not support a ban of personal owned firearms. I DO support a ban of semiautomatic and automatic firearms as well as high powered "explode of contact" ammunition for personal ownership and use. These items should ONLY be held by military and law enforcement personnel, and kept under strict control, checked out at the beginning of a shift and back in at the end.

RE:To Linda Johnson, Hixson- And remember to ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country!

Thanks for giving me a good laugh this morning. I needed it. Using a classic quote from a 1960's democrat (JFK in case you didn't know) to promote a right wing-nut republican.

The (lack of) education of the political lemmings just absolutely astounds me. And that goes for BOTH sides. Educate yourself. Be objective in what you discover. Question and doubt EVERYTHING you hear, see and read until you have investigated it as thoroughly as you possibly can. Be flexible with the sources of your information. Learn as much as you can. Don't just accept what your parents/spouse/coworkers/boss/best friend tells you as gospel until you have found out for yourself if it is true or not.

Be a lemming. Parrot the clips and quips you hear without digging for the truth. Believe the lie-packed slanderous commercials. Believe the ranting, side-leaning articles and editorials. Let others do the thinking for you then watch our country sink further into the political crapper.

RE:Paper in spin mode to re-elect Obama- Leave religion out of political reporting! Then we need to either take religion out of politics altogether, or give true and fair representation for all religious beliefs, not just far right minded so called Christians that have the attitude of superiority and self-righteous arrogance.

""IT SAYS "One nation under God." If the atheists oppose this, then they should find another country!""

I hate to burst your bible thumping bubble, but the Pledge of Allegiance did not include the words "under god" until congress passed legislation for it on June 14th 1954.

1953 - Federal legislators are lobbied by religious leaders from the Knights of Columbus, as well as the Hearst Newspapers and the American Legion, who are "worried that orations used by 'godless communists' sound similar to the Pledge of Allegiance." A bill to add "under God" to the Pledge of Allegiance is introduced in the House by Rep. Louis Rabaut (D-MI), and in the Senate from Sen. Homer Ferguson (R-MI).

1954,June 14 - Congress considers three variations of the "under God" phrase: "One Nation under God," "One Nation, under God," and "One Nation indivisible under God." Congress accepts variation #1 based on a recommendation from the Library of Congress. 1992 John W. Baer, DA, MBA. The words "under God" are inserted into the Pledge. The legislation is supported by President Dwight D. Eisenhower, "fearing an atomic war between the U.S. and the Soviet Union," who signs the bill. The new Pledge reads: "I Pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."

Spar fairly, huh? What about the far fetched "facts" you spew like bile, the perverted claims you make against those who differ from you (which sometimes come across as more that a fantasy diatribe than anything else). And not to mention how you constantly copy and paste your previous idiotic posts and submit over and over, as if we can't all see you are clearly a lunatic not that far off from the Phelps clan. You thankfully stop short of picketing everything thing you disagree with signs of hatred. So if you want fair play, stop repeating yourself. Especially when your previous claims have been refuted. Constant repeating of your rants does NOT change the truth to what you want it to be.
