I missed your Jan 12 message, sailorman! But I stand by my post-I spent a lot of time in the company of folks whose politics were opposite mine, but they didn't know it. Almost every criticism, joke, complaint they made about this president was racially based. I have come to believe that a large number of folks in this country were not ready for an African American in the presidency. I know he is bi-racial, but we are not that far from our historical classification of any person with black ancestor to be black if they looked at all black-featured or their black parent of grandparent was known.
Hope you are well! I think a break is a fine idea-the poo flinging has gotten pretty bad lately. I am cruising the coast of FL this month on a homemade trawler with a mind of her own, so I have plenty of distractions.
