As a female working to excel in my profession in a decent-sized corporate environment, I can't imagine hiding behind my "status" as a "protected class" as a female. The company with which I work is 90% men.

Chris Anderson has clearly been busy do anything but listening to his constituents. It's disgusting that he decided to take up issues that weren't priorities in his own community, now he's accusing them of prejudice because of his own actions.

It's getting old. Either accept responsibility for your stance on issues, Mr. Anderson or just admit that anytime you make a mistake, you're going to cry discrimination.

As a "reverend" you might recognize a few of these scripture that speak about false teachers:2 Peter 2:1-16;Romans 16:17-20;Jude 17-18; 2 John 9, and so many more. I just finished a study with a group of women on this.

I suppose you also can produce scripture that endorses homosexuality and adultery.

There are lots of "reverends" stirring up lies in our media and not enough standing up for the truth.

I hope this wish and prayer is granted. What a different world it would be.

I wish the writer would address how the call for amnesty by many of our Republicans pushed by big business and the pro-abortion crowd would not be an issue if the 55 million abortions had not been performed since 1972.

I am so angry that spending and debt is going to ruin the opportunities for my generation. I completely get it that when the government is doing all the work, the private sector gets pushed out.

I'm looking for anyone with vision and this article has some points in that direction. I want to see everyone have a chance to rise. It's not happening now.

To this day, I remember the "discipline" I received from my mom and then my dad after I told my 4th grade teacher to shut up. Needless to say, I learned respect extremely quickly. It has actually paid off over the years in terms of opportunities and mutual respect. Lesson learned from my parents.

No charges of anything except disagreeing with a well-written piece with only distractions as responses.

I continue to be confirmed in my belief that the far left and the far right are incapable of anything beyond anger and arguments. Thank you for being part of that confirmation.

No charges of racism.Just recognize this article calls out fraud of all sorts by businesses, individuals, groups, all that benefit from the government. So, who's the hypocrite?

Let it be recorded here, you don't like the author. Maybe that's better.

Funny. I guess the article's reference to special interests, organizations and businesses just doesn't satisfy those who are simply offended that a female thinks for herself and has the ability to offer critical thought. So, the personal attacks ensue. In communications it was taught to me to change the subject when losing the argument; just like in these comments.

How many different ways can you write the same article and have it published? I think this is the third or fourth iteration. That's what we call marketing, and not writing, in the world of communications.

I extend my congratulations to the communications person who wrote this. But,the last line exposes this to be a piece to restate the obvious with no meaning. I have never known of this man to do anything except stick to his extreme talking points the entire time he has run for office and been elected. Mr. Fleischman you have no credibility.
