Food for thought. Uggla should bat leadoff.

He only hits solo shots, so we can put him a position to succeed at least once a game.

His OBP is 60 points higher than BJ and 30 points higher than Simmons who seem to be the other options.

P.S. Uggla just stuck out again.

JMC - I like your idea Re: Good FCS schools get to play big time teams, but, is that realistic with the way scheduling works?

Schedules are generally set 3-5 years ahead of time, teams rise and fall that quickly, save a few powerhouses. Also, the 'good' FCS teams are least likely to get interest as the powerhouses seem to want glorified scrimmages. Just my $.02.

Also, in regards to scheduling, I have to say it's funny seeing someone mention the SEC is actually behind B10 in something football related.

JG - I almost wrote something yesterday similar to your thoughts on Keyshawn. My Rushmore of people I'd hate to have turn me in starts with 1. OJ 2. Ray Lewis, 3. T.O., 4. Ochocinco, 5. Jamarcus (side note: why do we usually list top5 when making Rushmore lists? Aren't there only 4 faces on Rushmore?)

Q-Tips cannot be replaced by any other brand. I don't recommend skimping on TP either, but there are a few brands that will do.

Anyway to get some type of cycling news in the mailbag for Friday?

Is Canseco the anti-Lance? Everything Lance says continues to be untrue while Canseco's revelations seem to pan out. Very interesting to me how one guy's rep is ruined while apparently telling the truth while the other continues to hold onto lies and gets Oprah specials.

Tejay van Garderen is in Chattanooga for the weekend. As a 23 year-old, he finished 5th in the Tour de France last year and his team was riding for a different guy. He's fresh off a win at the 8-day stage race Tour of California and is poised to be the first American winner of the Tour de France since our boy Lance...wait, I mean LeMond.

GDawg - I'm river rat myself. Commercial trips on the GC are fairly easy to come by depending on the craft you want. The big J-rigs with motors are the cheapest, followed by oar rigs, paddle rafts, then the famous doris.

It gets more compliated when you want to go on a private trip. There are permits and lotteries involved.

Grew up in Toledo, OH. The Browns and the Lions are terrible. Hard to pick the team that's worse really. Barry Sanders was a beast and I think the Lions had one playoff victory to show for it. Similar to Peterson in the fact everyone knew he was getting the ball and still couldn't stop him.

Browns 1.0 and 2.0 are still a yard short. Mabye they'll get a rebate.

Derby winner - ReVOLutionary Derby Loser - Charming Kitten

No puns intended (when I picked them), but I'll take the Vols over the Cats Alex.

Two defensive forces were Howie Long and the Fridge from the Temco Bowl. Fidge was unstoppable from the NT position.

Agreed 9er (expect for the golf knowledge part).

I like the way these nicknames are morphing. I may make the move to Star Luck.

The tshirt sounds nice, thanks Jay.

Nothing lucky about TNBuck(eye)'s picks. Maybe 9er should go for a name change to hater?

I agree w/Spud. No way Kobe goes out like that.
