I am a mature Trans Woman, survivor of gender biased and homophobic abuse. I contribute to several gender equality and GLBTQ blogs. I have a BA in Cultural Anthropology from Evergreen, with minors in gender studies, mythology, music, and foreign language. I completed my field research studies on the cultural effects of famine in the bogs and streets of Ireland.
