Reggie Mathis (ND) was the Jim Thorpe of Chatty HS athletes. He excelled at football, basketball, track AND field, + baseball; probably could have wrestled.

A male country music Rushmore has to include a Williams. Hank Sr, Hank Jr, and even Don deserves consideration.

I guess I am one of the few who likes the Sprint commercials. Hey, everybody's different...

Speaking of FBS vs FCS in FB, what about a SEC--OVC + an ACC--SoCon Challenge? Each FCS team gets 500 Large minimum. Hey, the SEC Network needs programming. And when will the ACC have a network?

C-Niner: 1st place prize money at Indy is $2,500,000. My Barger + Brainerd Jr math tells me that is $5,000 per mile or 500,000 cents per mile. Time for a new calculator or too much bourbon over the weekend? And Jay-G would certainly accept that level of reimbursement.

I did not play it, but I did check in w/ Buddy-The-Bookie-In-Brainerd last night. The Pacers-Wizards line at tip-off was Indiana -4.5. Those line-setters/odds-makers know their...stuff.

Spy: if GA Southern's athletic budget is 1 of the lowest in the SoCon, here is guessing it will be 1 of the lowest in the SunBelt also. That sounds like a tough row to hoe. BTW, you are great when you post here + when you call in on the radio.

UTCs athletic budget is less than GSUs. [$12-14million?] On that note, please allow me to remind all you UTC fans out there that it is time to renew your Mocs Club membership. Renew now to ensure you receive all the benefits of membership [seating priority, parking, hospitality, etc]. Thanks for your support; we need it so David Blackburn + staff can take this thing up a notch or 3.
